We started out at the library for story-time
Kate was sooooo excited to finally be spotlighted for her B-day!
She chose Marley's for lunch and received gifts from
Kristen and Sydney
Then on to Provo Beach Resort to ride the Carousel!
And ride the waves

The girls finished the night off with a sleepover in Kate's room
It was a bittersweet day. Kate's birthday was a lot of fun but we woke up to this:
My Dad's building was set on fire. It looks like someone broke in and
robbed the jewelry store and then burnt it down.
My Dad had recently finished remodeling it and everything is ruined.
The smell alone damaged everything in the entire building.
We are extremely sad and hope whoever did this gets caught.

So sad about your dad's building. Does he own the jewelry store? Really, so awful!
He doesnt own the jewelry store but he owns the building and his personal office is in there too.

THat is SOOOOO sad about your Dad's office. I would think of your Dad every time I passed it! Glad Kate was still able to have a good day.
Oh, I'm SO sad to hear about your Dad's building. I'm hoping/assuming everything is insured but the time to put it all back together is the part that cannot be restored.
