"Heavenly Father...Do you Like My Bed?"

I have had Kate's new bedding on my childhood bed
for awhile now and finally got around to ironing it.
I told her to come upstairs and see it.
She came in the room, jumped around excited
and then went over to her window

I said, "Kate, what are you doing?"
She told me, "I am praying."
She opened the window and said:
"Heavenly Father...do you like my bed? (pause) Thanks!
And bless me to have good dreams just not bad dreams.
And I want Santa to come and bring my Dad back.
In the name of Jesus Christ Amen."

She got up and looked at me and said,
"Hey Mom, can I do exercises with you?"

I was laughing so hard inside!!!! She is one funny kid.
I sure LOVE my Kate
