Sweet and Spicy

This morning Kate pushed Jane down for messing up her "party" (she likes to lay blankets on the floor like a picnic and put her toys on top, she calls it a party)
So I sent her to her room for a time out. She did the time then came back down and said Sorry to Jane, everything was fine.
Later that morning we went upstairs and I noticed her shutters were separated and opened. I told her she wasn't allowed to do that and she responded with this:

KATE: "But Mom I was just praying to Jesus. And I fold my arms like this." (she demonstrated for me)

MOM: "Well, that's good. I love when you say your prayers to Heavenly Father. What were you praying about?"

KATE: "I just tell him that I was mad at Jane and I was sorry now."

MOM: "Well that's good honey. It makes me happy when you pray to Heavenly Father."

She is pretty sweet....even though there is A LOT of spice! ha ha!!!

We have a sweet and spicey girl at our house too. They make for great stories!

Tender story. What a sweetheart. I've seen her sass too...but doesn't her sweet over power her spice? That's what matters, right?
