Todd called me from work Monday morning and asked,"Do you want to go hike the Y?"
So we went.
Subway. Check. Gatorade. Check. Fruit Snacks. Check.
We thought Kate would run around like crazy
(because she ALWAYS has energy)
But NO. Big NO. She wanted to be carried.
So Todd carried both girls as pictured up and down the mountain.
He is a MACHINE. I had the sandwiches in a small pack and was dying yards behind him.
HA!
But we had a great time. And it was a beautiful day.

So fun! I need to find someone to go with me sometime. I got Spence to do that once when we only had two kids and I don't think I will ever be able to get him to go again! It about killed him. Unfortunately he doesn't enjoy hiking activities as much as I do. However, if I let him carry a paintball gun in his hand he probably would! Haha!
i hiked the y the other week with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and carried mae on my back (and baby in my tum tum)...and really really REALLY died.
seriously, it took me at least three days to recover.
you guys are awesome! i've never done that hike...maybe I can get todd to carry me up there!
I need to do that one of these days...with the pack, not 2 little girls! Fun.

I laughed that you called Todd a "machine." Perfectly said. Anyone who can carry themselves AND two little girls up that treacherous mountain is not human. haha.
