I was looking at some pictures sent to me of the rioting going on at the temples.It brought tears to my eyes.
As I was crying, Kate asked, "What happened Mommy?"
I told her that those people weren't being nice to the temples and it made me sad.
She said, "Ohhh it's ok Mommy, I help you. Daddy help you [with the] temples Mommy. Daddy will help you a temple Mommy. Don't be sad (as she stroked my face). They're naughty Mommy."
And yes, they are naughty.
I've been here in California over a week now and I've heard so many good people who have put in long hours of service to help pass Prop 8. I am grateful for them and their beliefs of marriage being ordained between a man and a woman.I was also sad to hear about the closing of the LA temple today. These are crazy times.
But I LOVE out TEMPLES!!!!

The LA Temple closed??? I feel so isolated some days sitting at home playing with Jo and holding Atticus. I just don't know much about what's going on. It makes me want to run to the temple, get in as much time as I can in case the privilege is taken away.
this whole thing makes me sick as well... what is our world coming too..
How sad!! It's so hard to watch everything that's going on right now.

I was in the LA temple when we had to be quarantined until the anthrax threat was over on Thursday. We were there for 2 and a half hours after the session - it was pretty crazy.
